Blessed, Broken, and Scared

Blessed, Broken, and Scared

An Advent Retreat
7:00 PM Friday December 6
through
11:00 AM Sunday, December 8, 2019.

Jesus was born into a broken world and filled it with blessings. What keeps us from unwrapping so great a gift? The answer lies in our brokenness and our fear. In the retreat, participants will discover how God’s mercy can heal our own brokenness, conquer our fear, and lead us to become a ‘gift’ to others.

The Catholic Conference Center joins with Broken Door Ministries to offer a unique two day Advent retreat: Blessed, Broken and Scared.

The retreat master author and speaker Brian Pusateri. Brian life was changed in 2011. During an eight day silent retreat he emerged with a powerful message placed on his heart of unconditional love. Since then, Brian has been impacting others all over the country and around the world with his talks, weekly letters, and retreats. His life journey was the inspiration for book, The Broken Door. He is the founder of Broken Door Ministries whose mission is to empower people to address their areas of brokenness and begin a healing process with the help of Jesus and committed brothers and sisters in Christ. Brian has led numerous parish missions and retreats across the country (see testimonials), has a new DVD series just being released and is finishing his first book. Brian regularly emails a popular newsletter, The 4th Day Letters.
In addition to the sessions, the author of “The Broken Door” will be present to talk about the book itself. Sunday Vigil Mass will be celebrated Saturday evening by Fr. Ed Sheridan, with time for confession will be available Saturday afternoon.
The price includes all meals, lodging, taxes and retreat materials. Each room at The Center has been recently renovated and is equipped with two full-sized beds and a private bath. The Center has a dining area with a full-time chef who will prepare a hot breakfast and full, three course meals for both lunch and dinner. In addition to delicious food and well-appointed lodging, other main features of The Center are its beautiful architecture, various sacred spaces, and 180 acres of both wooded trails and nicely manicured lawns.
