The Heart of Mary

May 7, 8, and 9, 2021
A Great Mother’s Day Gift for our Blessed Mother

Why are so many people today seeking out Mary for peace, direction, and hope? Why are so many saying, “I consecrated my life to Mary and it changed everything!” Come to this retreat and learn the answer to these and many other questions.

Even better, come to this retreat and deepen your own relationship and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. In a prayerful and thought-provoking manner, the retreat will help you do this by exploring three basic questions:

  • What is Marian consecration?
  • Why would a person consecrate their life to Mary?
  • How does one consecrate his/her life to Mary?

Throughout the retreat, you’ll learn more about Mary and be invited to establish your own beautiful relationship with our Blessed Mother.

The retreat begins the Friday before Mother’s Day. What better way to begin the weekend which honors mothers by spending a little time honoring the Blessed Mother? It could be a great gift to accompany your own mother as you reflect together on the intercession and help the Blessed Mother has to offer.

Mother’s Day Weekend Options

To make the most of your Mother’s Day, the retreat has several tracks that will allow people flexibility, to both explore the Heart of Mary and spend Mother’s Day in a manner which is suitable to each retreatant and his/her family:

The Heart of Mary – One-Night Retreat. Begins Friday 6:30 PM with dinner, and concludes with the Vigil Mass Saturday at 5:00 PM for the 6th Sunday of Easter.

The Heart of Mary – Two-Night Retreat. Add a second night’s lodging and continue your retreat with dinner Saturday at 6:00 PM and a second night’s stay. There will be a bonus conference you don’t want to miss: Can you consecrate your life to other saints, and even angels? Sunday morning there will be a holy hour, Holy Mass at 9:00 AM, and then a brunch to follow.

Mother’s Day Brunch – brunch only. Friends and family members of retreatants will be able to join them for brunch. Our chef has prepared some amazing brunch selections, and we’re pleased to offer a ‘no-wait’ Mother’s Day brunch for our retreatants and their families.

Commuter options. There will also be commuter options for the basic and extended retreat for those who don’t wish to spend the night.

Is this retreat for you?

The retreat will be of value to people who are currently struggling with their faith and are curious if Mary might have the answers, any who are curious about Marian Consecration, those who might be considering Marian consecration… and even those who have already consecrated their life to Mary and want to spend some time in deeper reflection.

COVID-19 Protocols. We get a lot of questions about what we’re doing to keep you safe during this pandemic. We keep our retreats small, and make sure everyone is properly spaced at individual meeting and dining room tables. We have hand sanitizing stations throughout the center. We stay well within the NC Governor’s most recent executive order, which allows conference centers to meet at 30% of a room’s capacity, and abide by all of the other precautions. If you have questions or concerns, please call 828.327.7441 or email us and we’ll be glad to provide you with the answers you need.
