Sing a new song…
This January, the walls of the center will be vibrating with music, dance and song. Two very unique groups are coming to visit. One is the Queen Charlotte Sweet Adeline chorus, coming here for a weekend retreat and rehearsal. A couple of years ago they performed for Catholic Charities Spring Fling. They liked the center so much they decided to book a few days of their own. The other group is the Choraliers from Clover High School in Clover, SC. Each year the performing arts department puts on a big stage production for the local community. The conference center gives the students the space to bring all the different classes and talent groups together for a unified production.
We are pleased to be able to provide just the right space and accommodations for both groups. In a way, many of the people that come the center do so to learn how to ‘sing a new song’. The ‘song’ could be training to hone some new skills, a confirmation retreat to be renewed in the Spirit, or a marriage getaway weekend to rediscover the ‘music and dance’ of married love. May you discover many ways during this New Year to ‘sing a new song’ of spirit and life.
