What we do best

Nestled at the foot of Baker Mountain is a gem of Catawba County. The Catholic Conference Center serves over 5,000 people each year with gracious hospitality and delicious food. Many come for retreats and conferences and take advantage of our 50 lodging rooms and large and small meeting rooms.

Once here, our guests rave about the exceptional food prepared by our Executive Chef. Coupled with the stunning architecture in a pastoral setting, the dining experience is personal and unique.

Meet your Executive Chef

Gilda, the former owner of Rose and Daisy Restaurant, has brought her love of cooking to the Catholic Conference Center. In Gilda’s kitchen, everything is made with love, including her deliciously authentic Italian dishes like homemade gnocchi or stuffed cannoli shells. She’s also used her two master’s degrees to plan meetings and community health events for national and international organizations. But her true love is cooking and interacting with people. Don’t be surprised to see her in the dining room talking to all of our guests!
